About
"Ms. Liebold's work reflects a deep connection and empathy with
her subjects that enables the viewer to cross the space between subject
and viewer and into the subject's world. Without artifice or manipulation,
she presents the profound dignity and spirit of very poor people. Their
human yearnings and strivings evoke within the viewer a self-recognition
and, in turn, a profound respect and caring for the subjects."
Traer Sunley, Vice President for Communications, Pact, Inc.
